The print has developed into a  major contemporary art form, it is largely due to the opening of new frontiers in technique. The introduction of new materials and concepts has led to a blurring of all dividing lines between traditional graphic media. But one should not forget the old media. Malaysia has a long history of art, it is now time for the younger generation to revive the art of printmaking, to liberate it from prejudice which had relegated the printmaking technique and media to the rank of minor art.
